Towing Bumper or gooseneck

Ok I have to buy a new trailer to tow around my new tractor and brush hog with a total weight in equipment being about 5500lbs. Pulling is a 2500HD Silverado

Should I just spend the extra money and put on the gooseneck hitch (currentyl don't have one) and trailer. Or my second option is install a Class 5 hitch replacing my Class 4?

Either trailer is going to weigh close to 3500lbs i believe.....

i would go with a bumper just because i use my bed to haul stuff when im towing my trailer. i dont know if that is an issue for you or not but it seems as if both would get the job done

Just get an equipment trailer and be done with it.

Goose necks handle better at high speed and you can really get creative with jack knifing them into tight spots when turning around. I could back my rig and trailer into a 130 degree driveway where a bumper pull trailer would do some major damage to the truck bumper.
