Shopping for a ZTR Mower

Greetings,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, first time posting here, but I am in the market for a ZTR and having a hard time deciding which brand to go with. I'm looking for a 42" cut, with bagging attachment and striping kit, and the top end of the budget is $4,000.00.

I've ruled out the mowers at the big box stores like the JD and Toro, etc.

I think I have narrowed it down to the eXmark quest, Gravely ZT (XL maybe), and the Hustler Sport.

I have an eXmark dealer less than 2 miles from my house.

I really want a welded deck, but not sure I can find one in the budget.

This is for my personal use. I have 14,000 of Bermuda that I have been cutting with a Honda walk-behind for 3 years. Time to upgrade. The lot is fairly level on 3 sides with a long gradual slope on one side.

Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I believe this belongs in the homeowner assistance thread, but they'll move it for you I think.

I really really like the Exmark Quest for the grade of machine it's considered to be. It cuts excellent and does really well up slopes, but not so well horizontally on slopes. I've spent several hundred hours on the equivalent hustler and prefer the quest. Where are you located?

Harsh. I believe he is a home owner and not an LCO.

You want a garden tractor. Don't bother with a ztr. Do you have leaves in the fall? Do you have a garden planted? Lots of use for a tractor when you're a homeowner.

My neighbor has a 2010 quest with a fab deck looks nice for a home owner mower I think he paid over 4K for it without the bagger setup which I think he said was an additional $800 a new quest with bagger will probably put you over the $5000 mark unless you are getting one heck of a deal.

Yes, sorry. New to the site. Just a homeowner looking for advice on purchasing a mower. Reliable information hard to find in the internet. This seems like the best place to get real feedback from real professionals.
