Really? Can you document this? Local newspaper article or trade mag article? Can you at least name the city? Sounds like a bogus story to me. Trees and the shade they provide would be more of an issue, but lawns removed causing houses to heat up inside? I don't buy it.

You seem to be missing my point. I wasn't questioning turf removal rebates, they do that here too.

What I question is replacing turf with gravel and drought tolerant plants and then it raising temps inside houses and then people replanting turf and getting paid for that...

sorry, I haven't been on in a few days. I just sent the guy I know an email to find out what town he lives in in NV, I also asked him if he had a link to anything on it.
