About how many sets do you think have been sold because of this thread? 200? 300? 1,000? There are a whole lot of people that read and never say a word.

I bought because of this thread and RM's endorsement.

I am hoping that the sales group will give me some information on sales this last half of the year. I want to thank everyone who has commented on the G6 blades. Please continue to post good or bad results. We learn what we need to do to improve our products from all of you out there using them daily.

I'd say somewhere just shy of half of our leaves have already dropped right where I live. I have been wanting to add to my review of how well the G6's do or don't work on leaves from a side dsicharge mower, and now I finallt will get to shortly.

My mower has been at the dealers for the last three weeks having its engine replaced under warranty. I just got it back this afternoon. I ran over the neighbor's front lawn across the road real quick, both to try the blades out (since I have had very little chance to so far this year), and to start putting some hours on the engine to break it in before I have to store it for the winter.

Two passes and gone, just like they did before the mower went in for work. I have a ton of leaves that come down on my own property, so I'll get to test them out several times in the next 2-3 weeks.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, these blades flat out do a great job on grass and weeds, and it appears that leaves will be a walk in the park as well.

I still think they (Oregon) need to bend the outer tab on the sail to the same pitch/height as the shredder teeth (even if they have to twist it like the shredder teeth). If Deere can form even higher lift to their OEM high lift sails than the G6's have with the same width and thickness of steel, then Oregon should be able to at least make that outer tab match the shredder teeth. Then they'd have a blade as close to perfection as is humanly possible.

I've been using the "older" fusion blades on my 52" Turf Tracer and I bought the new g6 to try. I'm very happy with them - no problem with the spinning and everything that gets cut comes out smaller than others. They do seem to keep their edge somewhat longer which is obviously a good thing. I'll probably get another set for my G3 next year. Thanks Oregon!!

Bringing this back up for some information on the G5 blades availability.

I've learned I need 596-310 for my gravely but have had no luck finding this at an online retailer. Wondering if anyone can help me out.

I have no problem going to a local retailer but it's just easier to point and click.

Thanks.
