Magnamatic 9000 users: Extended worktable?
Is the extended worktable worth the extra cost? Does is reduce the blade cutting (grooving) the worktable?

Hello 2manymowers
I've already responded to your other post regarding the worktable. Based on your description of the (area of the table where) screw behind the grinding wheel wearing down more than the rest of the table - leads me to believe that you may not be flat on the table. That being assumed - the extended table allows you to keep more of the blade all flat on a larger table surface so that you do not "saw" the table with the mower blade. This is especially helpful with HIGH LIFT BLADES, since they have so little flat underside near the tip of the blade. Thank you,

Highly recommend the extended table. I have minimal grooving on mine. I switched mine before first use and would not go back. Frankly, they should ship the unit with this table as stock.
