Two Space Savers in a long box?
Does anyone know if you can fit two space saver 200 gallon skids in the back of a long box pickup?

I have seen a F 350 Truck with two Space savers in it. I am thinking they might weight around 2 ton or better full.

Ric is right--the weight is a problem. Plus there may be a few problems with access to filters, change the oil, fill the gas, change the diaphragms...just the water is 834 pounds per hundred gallons. 3336 lbs just for the water.
If you hear four big bangs--its the tires. |

Two 200 Gallons skids on a 14,500 cab over flat bed yes.
On a regular pick up. NO! If you do not hear four bangs, listen for scraping and watch for sparks from the underside of the truck and bumper scraping down the road. Also watch for blue lights. Unsafe load.

I should have mentioned it's a 1 ton dually with a 10' flatbed (they also have the regular box it came with). I can't find many specs on the flatbed rating itself but it was made to haul landscape rock. From what I'm reading it appears it falls within the trucks payload rating by about 500 pounds (after water and skid weight). I'm thinking an F-450 or 4500 is the better route but I appreciate your input.
