Contractor cost for a fresh UA is $1112.00. Transmitter only is $400.00.

No while I have a great relationship with STI, Atlantic Irrigation is a RM distributor. I need to call John Deere now.

Is there any way to bypass my local peeps with this deal and go straight to RM?

No... trust me. I can't even get parts to resell like antennas. They are TORO now anyway. I'm going to pm you.

Peter's right, only "distributors" can re-sell RM. Someone is giving you "list price." Unless you're a contractor with a pretty good track record, you'll get that price quote.
