Here's an impact that would cover well.

I'll eat all my veggies so I can grow up as awesome as you.

I need about 5 or 6 sprinkler heads to put on new lawn instals. Does anyone know what an ideal set up would be for running them off of the average house nozzle or am I wasting my time?

Why don't you figure this out with the info here
What is your water pressure?
Do a hose bucket test and see how many gallons your hose of choice puts out in one minute.
go to home depot and study the Sprinklers to determine which will give you the most distance with the least pressure requirements and try to figure how many you could run at once based on the your analysis of pressure and available water. We can only help so much with zilch in real info.

If you're just looking for something to run off of a hose then a Maxi-Bird would work.
I've used them on many temporary systems to establish grass/grass seed.

I cant go to the house of someone I've never met to a lawn I dont know that Im going to be putting in to test the well that doesnt exist yet. You know what I mean??? These are going to move around with me between now and when they wear out to all the lawns I put in.

I guess to be specific I would like to know whether to buy 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, or 1 inch hoses (I hope 3/4 because I bought $300 of them today) and then weather to buy 1/2", 3/4", or 1" brass impact heads. I was going to get some nice ones that will hold up, off of ebay. Then lastly, what to do for timers. I have a bunch of new vigoro digital timers from HD and they seem like they are crap but maybe they will do well.

Oh man...I've worked hard at this thread. Can somebody find that temporary hose layout contraption? I just don't have any gas left.
