Rain out again
3 of 5 days this week are rainouts.
Is anyone else behind because of the weather ? Are you working Saturdays and Sundays to catch up?

Hey Ed,
How's it going, I seen your reply last week in one of the threads. Going good this year, very, very busy. Same down here, rain this week is killing me. Trying to get winterizer fert. down and that isn't working. About 1/3 of my customers are done. I hope I don't run out of weather. Plus cleanups and final mowings. Actually just went and had tires put on the truck and am going to change the tranny and motor oil today. Might as well get this stuff done on these crap days before winter gets here. My plow and salter are set to go. I did that stuff when it was still t-shirt weather. I'd like to think I'm going to be ahead of the game this year but we all know how that ends up.

It has rained everyday since last Friday and not just a shower or two.
In the last three weeks we have had around 20 inches of rain with 8-10 inches in the forcast for Saturday from hurricane kenna and a 60-70 percent chance everyday till Nov. 1. Trimmed hedges in the rain Mon & Tues just to get out. Think I'll look into pontoons for the mowers.....

Rain is a good thing. Unless of course that is all you get. Just think about the companies located in Washington State that cut almost daily in the rain. It is bad but they are much things worse then being behind such as not having enough work. I am getting ready to start working Saturdays to keep caught up with fall cleanups.

Yeah been raining alot here. Wishing we had this rain say back in July and August when their was a severe drought. Im not too far behind, considering the temps have been staying below normal have been keeping the grass from growing out of control. Looking like ill be cutting for the last time this weekend on some lawns and next week in the snow
On the extended forcast, next week they are saying light snow and highs only near 40 Yeah Randy you will be putting down winterizer while its winter lol, hopefully ya get all the work done before the winter hits. Matt

It's raining here too. Cutting in the rain hasn't been the problem, Doing those fall clean-ups is going to be the problem.
Bagged and mulched most of them twice earlier this month, now it's getting bad. Two weeks of Cotton wood leaves on two yards, and several yards filled with wet mapple leaves. So much for baggin' em. Time to wind row and tarp.

I hate to "rain"n everyones parade. But I'm dang glad to see a little rain. I can't remember the last time it rained this many days in one week!!!!
We've been in bad bad need of this slow soaking for soooooooo long. I've had leaves slowly turning loose for months due to drought. I also feel dang lucky for once too. I just finished up all the major fertilize and seeding. I did one big renovation last week too. So far I irrigated it Sunday morning. It rained on it Sunday night and every day since except for Wednesday I think. I'm sure behind, but that's ok with me. I've worked around the rain as best as I could. But I just gave up today. Ah well, them wet leaves are a lot easier to chase down with the doubles anyways!
