You're only charging $150 per hour for an 8-man crew. That only averages $18.75 per hour per man. Doesn't appear to be enough to cover your payroll, payroll taxes, insurance, and other overhead items, and then make a sufficient profit.

that's still only $26.25 per chargeable man hour. Still think it is too low. Any idea why the contract has changed hands so many times during the last 4 years?

Have you figured out what it COSTS you to do business/MH? And, like I asked earlier....have you included everything in your costs?

That's a lot of fuel. That's a lot of blade sharpening; added costs of GL ins.; more equipment (I'd assume); edger blades; string line; hedge trimmers; maint.; etc..., etc..., etc... .

I'm not trying to rain on your parade. If you can make money at your estimated pricing, rock on. Just trying to make sure you're thinking of everything.

Good luck.

That's still <$20/MH (based on 32 cuts).....and, I'm assuming your bid is $325K.

64 man hours per cut with 32 cuts equals 2,048 total man hours. At $150 per MH, that would be $307,200.
