I'm just starting. Which business/liability structure?
Hi Folks; What a nice site you have here. I'm a full time teacher with 3 teenagers who eat too much and don't work enough
I had this notion of running a "Dad and Kids" part time lawn business. We'd focus on townhomes and 1/3 acre or less yards. Probably have about 20 clients, making about $8k per year. Nothing too ambitious - just realistic as we don't have TOO much time. Now that you know my background, I was hoping I could get some suggestions on: the type of business structure and liability structure would be best. I was considering an LLC (which it looks like offers more protection) and maybe getting 1mil of general liability, too. I'd really appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks in advance; -goron |
