We've had snow in the mountains, nothing down low. Low being 6000'-7000'. Les - I forget, how tall are your mole hills out there?

Looks like your highest is still under 5000'. Mmmm.... I'm thinking Montana.

We've had some serious thunderstorms here three days in a row, but no snow at 9500'.

Cooling down slowly through the week, possible rain Thurs/Fri which we, once again, need. Everything is brown and dry.

Cheeze and rice, didn't know you had much more than ice there.

Sun Valley Idaho was mentioned to me in the last couple of days... 5000 elevation change? Yes please!

I'm down for wherever, as long as the hosedragger guarantees good snow.

It's cold here and raining. Supposedly we're supposed to get snow a little above us.

Idaho. Montana. Whatever. Sounds good to me. We should schedule in an east coast one for Les. Next year Vermont? (Sorry Les still far!)

Ps. Did you guys hear Squaw bought Alpine?

Argos - your weather is moving here late Friday. Snow in the mountains, 6"-12" in the Summit County area. Rain here though.

MT or ID, either way is fine. Might look at cost factors - flight, condo/hotel, lift tickets, car rental or transportation options (not sure of distance from airports to accommodations).
East coast would be a good idea one of these years - Vermont or Maine.

I'd rather ski a mountain over a mole hill?

Killington is actualy a pretty nice resort. Well it was before Irene visited. The base lodge was taken out by flooding not sure what the access road looks like now. Being VT its probably fixed already.
