Do you side-discharge, mulch, or bag?

What do you do with grass clippings?

I cut it high and let it fly ! (side discharge) During the hottest months of the summer. I catch the grass in the spring.

Mulching is the way to go. Keeps clippings under control in tight spaces. Leaves the mulch beds grass free.

Depends on the property, equipment, and conditions. This time of year, I don't bag anything except for two areas where the other option is blowing all over cars or messing up my lines. In the spring, I bag all my front yards at my HOA plans plus some other areas.

Get the Mulch on Demand deck and you can mulch and side discharge! But personally I side discharge 95% of the time. What ever gets mulched is with the 21" push mower. My father designed a cover to flip down over the chute on one of our mowers when near beds etc. to keep majority of clippings from flying into places I don't want them to. That's just used on one of our mowers. His personal preference. I just mow or turn certain ways to avoid blowing the grass into/on things.

Bag in the spring, side discharge during these warm months. I do bag a few lawns every single week but I dump my grass/leaves at a place for a set yearly price which is nice.

We mulch our lawns, except later into fall when the bags go on. The lawns look better for it. Too much work with bagging, removing N, then driving around with all that weight in the bed. No thanks.
