Gravely Compact Pro 34"

Getting ready to buy a new one this week. Any complaints on this particular model? Any advice on it? It comes with the Kawasaki FX 16hp/603cc engine.

Buy it !!! Must have upgrades that work great are a suspesion seat,10" wide rear tires(helps with rutting) and a Quickchute .My unit also has headlights and they do come in handy.Great machine with a great cut.

I purchased this mower this past February, and absolutely love it. This thing is built like a tank, and does provide a great cut. I installed the wider tires based on advice from normie and others here. I purchased the Carlisle Turf Master 20x10x10. They will fit on the stock rims, but I had to purchase some wider spacers to keep them from rubbing against the frame. If you do a search on here with my name, or Compact Pro 34, all of this info and pictures are here. I bought mine from Theriot's. Is that where you will get yours?

Hey Normie...can you post a link of where you bought the piece for the suspension seat? Is it pretty easy to install? I think that is something I would like to add to my machine. Thanks.

Lukespapa, more than likely will be buying it from Theriot's. I bought a Snapper commercial 21" from them last year.

I strictly mulch...don't remember about normie. If you are interested, I actually have a set of those tires on the stock rims [never used] with the spacers sitting in my garage. [I actually bought a 6" wide rim to put a set of those tires on, which gives more clearance from the frame.]

If you are interested, send me a PM, and I would be happy to sell them for what I paid.

Actually ordered it from my Gravely dealer $160 bucks it's the spring type suspension. You just unbolt the seat off (4) bolts mount the suspension to the mower frame and bolt the seat onto the suspension and don't forget to hook up the seat switch.15 mins maybe to complete and makes for a lot better ride.

Also I side discharge everything but have a Quickchute for flowerbeds and leaf time. For leaves I flip the chute down and mulch away and most of the time thats enough for a clean finish. If the leaves are real heavy I mulch them then throw on the Accelerator catcher for the final run through.
