Big Bees chase me

Cuss words and stuff. Got swarmed and chased on no less than 4 yards today. I'm so fleet of foot I somehow escaped. It's that time of year. Love it. Really, really love it.

one of my customers with a big 4 acre spread that has pigs, chickens, ducks, nice big garden and orchard area, etc texted me this week to let me know they've added 2 beehives to their little homestead. "They shouldn't bother you....". Mowed it for the first time yesterday, happy to report that it turns out he was right, for now at least.

The male carpenter bee is harmless unless he flies into your eye or something. He can't bite and has no stinger. He's the one you see buzzing all over the place right now. If there is a male chances are excellent that there's a female very close by chewing on some wood. She can also chew on you if you tick her off.

I think everyone knows carpenter bees are harmless. I'm talking about those big yellow jacket suckers and, of course, the wasps. The wasps are relentless. They're pure evil. I has a bunch fly out today when I got near a shed. That shed has a 15 foot perimeter around it which didn't get mowed. I'm not an exterminator.

I'm not too big of a man to run like a little girl kicking and screaming. I got lit up a few years back. Got stung by about 7-8 wasps at once that were nesting in a parking sign that I bumped with the mower. That wasn't fun.

I picked up a can of "get even" spray the other day.
I'm ready.

I know a little about these cuss words and things that went flying you speak of.
I know about being fast on foot as well.

Some years ago I started carrying Wasp Spray in my truck.
