Cyclone Rake with ZTR or Garden Tractor?

The last 2 years I have pulled my Cyclone Rake with a 22 hp garden tractor. The tractor pulls it with no problem. The issue is its muffler is in the front on the right side. The leaves build up between the front tire and the muffler unless I really watch it and back up constantly to clear them out. Yes, I did have a fire last year, scared the begees out of me. Thank goodness the house had a hose, learned my lesson.
This year I bought a 52" Exmark X series, love that machine. To those of you that have pulled a Cyclone with both machines, how did the Z handle it? Is it worth buying what is necessary to hook it to the Z ? In a delima here, looking for some real life experiences and opinions.
Thanks, Dwayne
