Spurge

i am having a real problem with spurge this year. i live in texas and the head has been crazy hot. All lawns look good other than the spurge. what should i do for this and what can i do to make sure i do not have this problem again next year.

Spurge thrives in the heat. I use Surge to spot spray it along sidewalks and drives. It has been bad here this year too with 25 plus days in a row in the 90's plus the driest July in history.
