yep 256k on it... my uncle bought it new in 93 then when my uncle past away in 03 my dad bought it from my aunt, we used it to pull hay racks out of the field and pull stuck machines out of the pens, then when i was 17 i got it from him with 160k and its been pulling trailers about 70 to 80% of the time. i put almost 100k on it in just over 5 years

it has a chevy 350ci with a small cam, 4l60e trans with a shift kit (its a 93.5 otherwise it would have a 700r4) 3.42 gears in the axels and a strait pipe exhaust i get about 15mpg towing the trailer down the highway loaded and about 18-19 unloaded with an empty bed down the highway

thats real cool, my whole family has had GM and my dad had one just like yours a few years back, but sold it, ran into the owner-we found out that its still on the road with 150K, those old GM's are close to bullet proof, yours has 3.42 gears? i thought my yukon has 3.73 ratio but i do not know, have to look into that. as far as fuel mileage i think mines in the same range, i hope mine lasts as long as yours, i got mine for 2300-lol i went to pick it up from the owner and the freeze plug on the passenger side of the block leaking anti freeze so he dropped the price, im just starting out this year so i thought the yukon would be good enough for now, me being in high school i dont got alot of extra money, by next year i hope to grow alot more, i only have 7-8 accts and i borrow some equipment from family,

i wish my truck had the 3.73 gears in it, it would pull the trailer better when loaded... mine has a newer motor that i put in, in my garage, because valve seals were leaking bad and blew a lot of blueish smoke and i pulled the trans myself and sent it to my dads friend for a rebuild and he made a few mods to it so it would pull the trailer better.. also it has a new rearend because me being young and dumb i was trying to show off to friends by doing a break torque and it blew up, moral of that one is dont try and show off to your buddies in your work truck...

lol yeah a buddie of mine blew out his rear end in is f-150 trying to pull his dads silverado 2500 out of a ditch, yeah i was using my dads 05 suburban to pull the trailer but i need some new wiring on the back of my yukon due to corrosion so i will be using my dads truck for another week or two, and yeah i was happy about having the 3.73 gears, my truck within the last 50k has had a engine rebuild, trans rebuild, and a refurbished transfer case as well as new rear drums and all new rear brake lines but it might need a new rear end soon-im not sure, all i need to fix now is the ac-needs new compressor, nice thing about my yukon is the compressor is on the top of the 350 while my dads 327 is on the bottom so its PITA to get at if anything goes wrong

its a shame you live so far away i have 2 extra a/c pumps from trucks ive scrapped out for parts in the past... mine needs new lines, a dryer, and condensor to work, for this season 2-60 is the best i can afford (2 windows down at 60mph)

lol i know what you mean, my dads ac doesnt work but i havnt figured out whats wrong, i did a recharge and it was cold for 2 days and went out again, im thinking one of the lines is leaking so ill have to look at that when i get a chance, and yeah wish you lived closer im going to have to pay anywhere from 200-300 for one but ill probably waite till next spring when it gets warm again, temps are all downhill from here

Well I havnt been on here in a while so i thought i would stop in and give an update.. I finally bought a leaf vac for the back of my zero turn that loads it right into garbage cans for 200 bucks.. i had to put a new motor on it that was another 200 bucks and add the garbage cans that i had sitting in the corner of the garage.. all it needs is a flex hose going from the powered unit up to the collection system... ill try and get pictures of it... best thing is it bolted right on the back and slid right in the mount without any fabrication....

any other guys using this king of system
