organic lawn fertilizers

Are there different levels for organic for lawn fertilizers?
For food, the NOP-national organic program allows for different levels, like multi-ingredients.

How should i choose organic fertilizers?
thx

Before setting your mind on organics or what you plan to use, first give us a little more details. What is the conditions of your soil? Grass? What type of grass? What's your OM% in your soil as of now? What's your goals? What do you want to accomplish by using Organics? Are you stuck on Organics? If so, do you know the true reason why? Do your HW before buying anything "Organic" because "Organic" usually includes someone getting rich, and someone getting disappointed unless you have a correct program setup to meet your needs and soil conditions.

There are many definitions of "organic" lawn care.
Here's a link to what is probably the strictest interpretation.

The same holds true when choosing a conventional lawn care program. It's always good to ask those questions. Although, I'd venture to say that more people are getting rich on selling conventional products than organic products.
