September 1st start up

Just got a call from a guy, brand new customer, and he just now wants his system started up. Kinda late, don't ya think? We did have an article today in the paper saying it has been the hottest summer on record, but still. If it's this late in the season, just keep it off. But anyway, we'll take the money. Very slow here right now.

As a contractor I used to work for once said, "It all pays the same."

I've had a few of those. Always a surprise, but no complaints.

I suppose so. Money for me so I'm not complaining. I just find it odd. As a consumer, if I had waited this long, I'd just wait until next spring. Water by hand a few more times, and call it good. Save a few bucks. Heck, I have one blow out scheduled for September 23rd.

I've also had late calls in the past. It's almost time to reseed tall fescue and it's vital to water the seed. I guess people want green in the winter and let it die in the summer heat I dunno

She may be smarter than the rest of us. A lot of plants like a wet application before freeze.
