not impressed

just dropped my procat off at dealer. there was gas in the crankcase. it only has 24 hrs on it. was given a turf tiger with 35 vanguard and velocity deck. ill have to say that the TT doesn't cut any better than my procat and it rides a lot worse.

And how many hrs are on it? Have you checked the deck pitch, tire psi, and such? Try 8psi in the rear tires and adjust the suspension seat to your weight.

That's funny. You critic the TT and your all mighty Bobcat is needing work in 24hrs of use. The cut on the TT is as good if not better. Just because the Scag was not set up correctly doesn't mean it's a bad mower.

Had both and run both in really thick grass and wet. One stands out over the other and if the TT had air tires in the front the ride would be alot better. My Bobcat had air front tires and rode about the same as my TT. Noway will a Procat out cut a TT in ALL CONDITIONS!!!!

What size engine on the Procat? Maybe its your dealer if the Procat has probs that soon and the loaner seems to not be set up right either.

We have been trying out a turf tiger and using it with our predator pro. Everyone jumps on the predator over the tiger. Nothing wrong with the tiger just prefer the Bobcat.

first of all i said that it cut my grass better not all grass conditions just what i cut. 2nd i didnt say that a TT was a bad machine. i put 2500 hrs on my older TT. i was just saying that for me its not worth paying the big price difference. its the 29 kaw engine.

no way any mower will out cut any other mower in all conditions.

we buy what we like, trust and know is a good solid machine that produces what we think is the best quality cut.

i personally happen to prefer toro and exmark mowers. i won't touch any other brand. not because i find them superior in any way, shape or form, but because the other brands i have available to me cost more and when i compare any other brand to toro and exmark i don't see any superiority to make me wanna pay the extra amount they cost.

stihlmechanic said it best i think. he started a war. everyone has what they think is the best brand. i personally find them all to be equal. none out doing the other in all areas, in all conditions.

one brand is good for this type of grass or that type of grass. another brand cuts better in wet conditions vs dry conditions. this brand bags better than than that brand. i could go on and on.
