Opinions on a Rhino TS12
Thinking about getting one of these to mow undeveloped fields with not many items bigger that the rated capacity of 1 1/2"

That should be sufficient. Make sure to avoid anything with a shock coupler. Those things shred and fall apart like crazy and cost so much in downtime.

It's a 1/2 piece of rubber that mates two different drive shafts together.
It's different than a slip clutch. I have an 8 foot Modern shredder and it has a slip clutch for the driveline coming out of the tractor, and then branches off to two gear boxes with shock couplers. Those things are the biggest pain in the a$$ when something goes wrong. If you don't hit anything big, you'll never have to worry about the shock couplers, but sometimes I get in a hurry and don't watch what I'm running over. Make sure to keep 6-8 extra slip clutches in the truck or shop. It's a 20 minute fix, but can cost you 2 days of downtime if you don't have them and have to order them then wait for shipping.
