For those in The Gulf

I hear some states in the gulf may be getting up to 20 inches of rain. How are you dealing with it?

Yea, I'm in Northern VA and apparently from what my Dad told me late this afternoon we are supposed to get 2 to 3 inches of rain

We only got the outer bands of Lee, it was looking like we would get nada so I'm thankful for what we did get.

We had about 1 3/4" but it was a nice slow soaking rain.

Not near enough to break the drought but you take whatever you can get.

Now a front has come through and the rain is over. Temps are down and so is the humidity. Feels nice BUT it will pull the moisture out of the ground.

We got 5 and one half inches of rain but the ground was so dry it sucked it up as fast as it was coming down. I mowed today and didnt even find any mud.

Wow, that's dry. You are just a bit east of use, far enough to get some good rain.
