Whats the pros and cons to using a tarp in flowerbed clean-up? Does it make job easir, or harder than raking?

lots of people use a burlap tarp. It won't rip as you drag it through a parking lot, you can use it for about a week before it needs to be replaced, you don't have to throw old flowers/weeds, mulch on the grass then come back for them. You just pull weeds and have a helper pull the blanket along then tie it up with its corners when it's full.
It's mainly a timesaver.

Yes, agree. Also reduses the chance of breaking my PRE-EMERGENT barrier. My co-workers think its harder and to much time. I need some good old fashion words to help them UNDERSTAND how benificial the burlap sack is; In so many ways.
