How to get rid of crab grass

Guys, any ideas on how to gt rid of crab grass without using chemicals? Up here in Ontario pesticides are banned. Should I dig them all out by hand? Burn them out? Any natural products work on them? thanks B

Your CG should be dead soon... overseed now again i the Spring and cut your grass high or not at all when the heat comes... just enough water to keep it green in the excessive heat, otherwise the CG just proliferates in fury...

Write a letter to your respective legislator. If that doesn't work plan on being on a strict water schedule.
