Ferris DD owners

I just picked up my new DD ferris 48" this afternoon and brought it to the shop. I messed aroudn some and then had to move and tried using the freewheel release instead of having to smeel exaust fumes. When i try and push it acts like it is still in gear. Both levers are locked in free wheel and i even adjusted them to where they are up all the way when locked in. Are everyone elses liek this also or is it just me? Thanks

It's not really free wheel. There is hydro fluid that is working against movement and the mower weights 600 lbs. Save your self time and just start it up.
