Irrigation question.
I've been doing lawn maintenance for a few years now part time and have the client base to jump into full time at the beginning of next season. One question I consistently get asked is "Do you also do irrigation?" Obviously that is a good sign so I'm going to go ahead and get a license for it to expand my business in Texas. I was wondering if there is a study at home class I could take that may be cheaper than the 40 hour class. Ive searched and didn't find anything, so in a last ditch effort I figured I'd ask you guys and gals. Thanks in advance, Jeff.

Short answer - No.
The state of Texas allows no self study or previous experience or college degrees in lieu of attendance at a 40hr class prior to sitting for the test. So, if you want to get licensed you have to pony up the dough for the class then the exam.

Thanks, I appreciate the help. Looks like I'll be doing that this winter.
