Thanks for the tip I have been going around the yard and randomly pulling a couple pieces up to see if it is wet underneath and so far so good

Thanks man here is one more pic I mowed my monkey grass down before I tilled so it should come back good. I went looking for a japanese maple today to put in the bed in front of the porch but could not find one I liked but I will post a pic when I find one. I cant wait to get to lay some stripes on the new lawn.

I had a full day of mowing scheduled for today but we finally got some rain and it has been raining all day so I had some more time to go look for the maple. I found one I really like and it has a nice weep to it already (crimson queen). I will try to plant it tomorrow when I get finished mowing if I have time but for now here is the pic I promised.

Haha that is always nice!

Now you've got me in the mood to start a project! I don't have the worst looking yard in the neighborhood but it's far from the nicest.

Maybe I'll make a nice little spot for a Japanese Maple..

Yea I know what you mean my yard was just straight weeds so I'm excited about it. I have lived here 5 years and I had the nicest maple at my old house I always wanted another one. Just be patient when looking for one I literally went to 10 places looking before I found this one but I love the fire red they turn just before dropping their leaves. Good luck

That's good advice. I will be patient.

They really are so pretty. How much did you pay for your Japanese Maple?
