Limestone boulder walls

Hey guys, looking for some information on limestone walls. I will be building a few walls that vary in facial feet, but all will remain around 3ft.-4ft. in height. Do you recommend any suppresor fabric behind the wall, as well as clear stone and drain tile? Or just stack them with a set back, along with the fabric to prevent washing out between any voids. Please provide me with some insight. Any other recommendations will be taken into consideration.

Thank you,
Chris

I'd post this question in the hardscaping section. You'll get tons of answers there.
