Just for a little more harmony, I'd switch the last rose all the way to the right for an ornamental grass.

First off, dont take this the wrong way, I know how hard it is to design small linear areas. The placement of the plants being staggered looks generic. Any untrained home owner can go to Lowes and off set three varieties of plants in three different rows.... and that is usually how they will do it. I know these areas are hard to design but when faced with these it's time to pull the rabbit out of the hat to impress a customer. I will give you a thumbs up for presentation but I hope you charged for the design since judging by the low volume of plant material that it will not be a high grossing job.

Chris,
I think your presentation looks great! We all go through the ups and downs of enjoying first acceptance and dealing with redesigns. I did a real quick work up of your iPad design using a stock photo of a pool.If you think it would help, post a picture of the actual site and I would gladly do another with more detail than I did this first one at no charge.
