Aluminum Boat Acid Wash ????????????

..

Hello

I have a Aluminium Row Boats and an Aluminum Pontoon Boat I would like to clean up and make look bright again. Marine stores want a fortune for a quart of Acid Cleaner.

WHAT CAN I USED AND WHERE DO I BUY IT.

This is for a soft wash since I only have a Homeowner type machine.

Thanks for any and all help.

Ric - anything marine related has a huge mark up on it. Try commercially available aluminium brightner. Softwash should be find like in this video I found.

Let us know how it turns out?

I use to use a product called Alumabright. Got it from a local hardware. I believe i mixed it 50/50 with water. It worked great on bare aluminum.
