attaching leaf blower to mower
I use my laser mostly to do leaf jobs. but I also have a walk behind blower. The thought has crossed my mind to attach the two. somehow. I am wondering if anyone has ever done this? I wouldnt think that I am to out there w/ the idea. I am thinking the force of both would get the job easier or even could leave the deck off and just use blower and ride back and forth.
any ideas? |

I know a guy that either bought a cart or made a cart that attached to the front of his 60 in Lazer Z. Right infront of the deck. Memory is fading I can't exactly remember how it was attached. Free floating I believe though. He was using a lil' wonder blower, give them a call and see if they sell anything.

If you're wanting to attach a blower to a ZTR that blows left right and everything in between. Watch this video of our new ZTR blower that allows you to do exactly that.

how many HP is that thing? the only weak link i see are those caster wheels. i had a giant vac 16z ZTR blower and the casters would go bad in a season.

We were concerned about the casters in testing too. It's hard to find 12" casters that are off the shelf and meant for Lawn and Garden. We tested the units very hard, finding various problems in areas that we did not anticipate. We did have a "wreck" with a unit where a caster dropped into a deep pothole suddenly while under full ZTR speed. The Z-Force frame bent but the casters and wheel were fine. We replaced the frame, reinstalled the same wheels and casters and proceeded to test. The Giant-Vac you mention had smaller diameter wheels (tougher on sideloads, especially on turf) and a whole lot more weight on them per caster.
