Demoed? I have owned one for half the season decks way nicer so is handling on hills and ride. 2 things i dont like are the "sticky" control levers and how the engine is mounted on the deck it just seems rough on the engine all that bounching

I have 3 new 52" stander X and they are amazing, we will be getting 4 more during the off season. The deck is great especially with wet and or long grass, have not had to double cut at all this season. Sticky control levers are just an adjustment and making sure that regular maintenance and greasing is done to all fittings.

Do you have the updated spring brackets? The new brackets added more adjustability to the deck lift springs. With the new brackets, you can back off on the spring tension further to reduce bouncing.

glad to hear the deck seems to be performing. i demoed one and ended up with toro. there had been a few on here that did not like it, but those reviews will be hard to find, most have not checked it out.

i know here, my dealer who is a large wright dealer has not sold one yet, but continues to sell regular standers, but more and more toro. guys in the midwest, where they sell the most standers in the country, dont even get the testing of these decks, and they perform the worst here, better in the outer states. that goes for all wright decks

looking to hear more about the stander x there is not much on lawnsite about them. I am thinking V ride this spring but I like that the Stander X is about 10 inches shorter (in length) than the scag.
