Establishing a new field
We have a multisport natural turf field with irrigation that was just recently graded and seeded.
To enhance germination I want to blanket the field with straw and tack it in place for the winter. No Problem. I have several other areas adjacent to the field that are going to be hydroseeded. The question is: Should I hydroseed, then blow straw, then tack afterwards -or- can I blow straw and then hydroseed through the straw with good results? Thanks! |

I would squirt it first for optimum seed to soil. Good luck.
