New Tiller

I bought this used tiller over the weekend. This isn't a picture of mine but it's the same model. The price just couldn't be beat in my opinion. Have you ever bought a piece of equipment that you were not going to use right away but more so as an investment? I know I'll get use out of this. I was just sick and tired of busting my rear using a small front tine tiller I have. I have rented this same tiller several times over the last year or so to do some lawn renovation jobs.

Any of you guys ever use one of these; Honda FRC800? It tills the soil up to very fine particles, no clumps at all and is VERY easy to use. You can actually walk beside this thing using one hand. Now if it's hard compacted ground I'd use 2 hands but if going back over the second time, very easy on the body.

Anyways, just thought I'd post because it's a new toy and I wanted to share with you all.

I rent that same model every year for new plant installs to work in compost. They are amazing. I only had one job that the ground was just too hard to penetrate, and the tiller just bounced.

When I moved south eight years ago I gave my commercial tiller to my brother because I just did not have any room left on the moving trucks. As soon as I come across a deal I will be getting another one. Your right about not needing it that often but when you do you can't beat a good tiller.

I have one that is just like that. Its older than I am. I paid 75.00 for it. Works great.

Nice, i love tillers. I have a Honda FC600and to me every LCO needs to have a tiller. Looks awesome, you'll love it.
