My first day of EOW

So there is all this talk of what are you going to do with your time off here on LS. This is what I did on my first day off for the season.

No - it is however a fellow lawnsite members house who needed some new turf and I feel I got him off to a good start for a great lawn.

You use a lawn roller! That's great! I thought we were the only ones who used one.

BTW looking good.

Tri-city

Back when I was in the sod business, I found Sand Sod needed rolled. I also found Muck sod did better without rolling. The only theory I could come up with was rolling smashed the roots of Muck sod. Sand Sod needed the roots to soil contact.

I suggest next Muck Sod job you roll only part of the yard and do a comparison for your self.
