shortcut 1500 trouble going uphill
i hav a hustler tht i had the engine replaced a couple of months ago. i noticed right away that it did not have as much ground speed as before. i figured it might be turning a few less rpms in the engine. the mechanic told me he had lowered the rpms a little.
did not notice any real problems. then i put the bagger on for leaves last week and now it dose fine on the flat or going up the drive but i hit the slightest hill and it dose not want to go. |

In other words; The "mechanic" was too frigg'n lazy to adjust the RPM's to factory spec and left them as were from out of the box. Get the high speed RPM set then see how it does......

You might want to check to see if the hydro belt is a little loose.
Just figured I'd clean the plate for you RestroRob.... |

Well Slapper,
If he was kind enough to "lower" the RPM's we shouldn't assume he tightened the hydro belt....
