Thought I'd vent for a second:

We lost the bid on a closed bid (by invitation only). Combined as second runner up my proposal was around $168k. The one bid higher than mine was only by $10k. The lowest bid came in at $85k! Almost $100k less! My mulch price was around $46k. His was $13k. Lol good luck to him

We attempted some cleanups this weeks but weather made it difficult. This year will be year 6 in business and I feel like this spring I feel the most prepared to start the season. We've gotten about 1-2 calls per day from our postcards. Picked up enough work to pay for the post cards which is nice. We grilled some brats today and left the shop early in anticipation of officially getting the season rolling Monday. I need to hire more help. We are currently blessed to have 6, 12 hour days of mowing and that doesn't include rain days. Good luck this year gents.
