How do you drive up the hill during the wet months?

I have that on my property. Plastic grid. The material cost on that could easily be 20k.

Not what I thought I would see. around here a lawn driveway is a someone parked in the grass but were redneck's

I've seen that once before...a back access to a house on a steep hill that kept washing out. I know they do that for overflow parking areas sometimes too but never seen as the main access to a house.
