Propane COnversion For an EFI Mower?

Title says it all. I know there are propane conversions for efi Automobiles is it possible and just had the thought of whether it is possible to efi mowers yet?

If not does metrolawn have any plans to develop/ offer this?

Just curious, Thanks

Not that I am aware of. Versus propane carburetion I don't see it as cost effective.

It also doesn't address the ethanol problem nor the "green" element. It's a step in the right direction but it still utilizes foreign oil.

May not be cost effective right now. But just wondering if you guys have even tried to get a prototype kit or done R&D on it because it seems like industry is moving (albeit, slowly) toward efi. And being as fuel efficient as possible is part of being green right?

Just putting ideas out there

Have been some proto type kits liquid and vapor injection. Not on market as of now, but the new kohler injected motor is pretty sweet.

There are kits on the market but not for mowers. Liquid Fuel Injection requires a pressurized return line back to the tank which is not possible at this time.

It's great that JD is trying to improve fuel economy and (slightly) aiding in saving the environment but it still doesn't address the ethanol nor foreign oil problem.

True, I'm biased, but when was the last time you saw a gasoline forklift? Propane has a great track record as a motor fuel.
