Sod day today, finished up the front of that other job. They couldn't load the skids because of the sides of my stupid trailer soooo 140 rolls by hand.
Lots of cool equipment at the outdoor supply yard though.

Yeah it wasn't as bad as I thought, a worker helped me load it and he lifted it up level with the trailer so we weren't walking or lifting really. I wanted the dump trailer because they can load it from the back and push it in. That was full of grass we dug up though, so that was a no go.

Been working late alot which kinda sucks but have lots to get done. Got a few stripes pictures. I've felt like following the contour of the yard when striping lately so I have, I don't mind it. I think it looks cool for the customer driving out of their driveway, and they've commented on their liking it.
Got home at about 9 last night from cutting two accounts that are 45 mins away from my house, one of them is bigger and pays well enough. Might drop it next season.

Wow today I pulled some old stakes out of tree's that are close to ten years old, so the wire was all grown into the tree, and it was a pain. I used the mini skid and a chain to pull them out. There was about 25 stakes, and then there was edging and weeding to do. This is out biggest commerical account.
We installed a lift in my brothers Ford on the weekend too, but you guys probably don't want to see that............

Its a 4.5" lift with the steering stabilizer, 35's arrive at the end of the week. He got a new quad too, 2008 YFZ 450. He also works on these diesel fire pumps, here is shot of a John Deere. He works on a lot of Cummins too.

Excavation job a friend did, I quoted to go in with the mini skid to tear out the driveway and move soil but the machine ended being in use for our work. He ended up just digging the foundation and driveway up himself with a laborer.

Did a clean-up and some mulch today, as well as fertilizer. It looked like garbage before and clean up was a pain but it came out okay I guess. A neighbour stopped by and mentioned her business needed some work and snow removal so I gave her a business card.
![]() A better shot of the 4.5" Rough Country Lift too.
