Hustler Sport 48" 20hp Kawasaki blade part numbers?
I have the Hustler Sport 48" cut with the Kawasaki 20hp engine.
1. Are the blades that came with the machine standard/medium lift? 2. What is the part number for those blades that came on the machine? 3. What is a part number for high lift blades? 4. What is a part number for gator blades? Will the gator type blades G5 or G6 have more lift than the standard blades that came on the machine? Peter

Well I went to the mower shop and picked up the high lift blades today that were on back order. Both myself and the guy at the counter said that these are not high lift blades at all.
But they are the correct part number 797757. The blades on the mower are the correct 601123 medium lift blades. I am just comparing the high lift blades to the medium lift/standard blades right now. The only difference I can see is that the length of the sail or "grass flicker" is only say 1/2" or so longer down the length of the blade. The actual angle of the sail is the same as the medium lift blades that came on the machine. Am I missing something here or what? These do not look like high lift blades to me at all.

I put the new high lift blades on today. They do have about 1/4" extra lift on the sail compared to the standard medium lift blades. Still not what I would call a high lift blade, but they seemed to suck the grass and leaves a little bit better.

That would be a high lift catching blade or our 48" Sport deck, or any 48" Hustler deck in the last 5 years.
