sidewalk edging.. to early?

I can't mow here yet but thought maybe doing a couple edging of walks before the mowing starts. outside of the ground may be hard yet- any other reason not to do it yet?

If your receiving payment for services rendered I can not think of one reason why you would not.
If your trying to get a head start on the growing season without mowing, wait until mowing season starts.

I agree,if these are yards you already service then getting a head start isn't gonna benefit you at all.Just wait till you start the season unless ofcoarse they will pay to have this which this case, jump all over it.

Edge now

We go out to our properties in early March and edge while we put out Pre-M. We blow the granular off the walks and driveways and back into the new edge which really helps prevent weeds from getting a start in the edged area.
