how did I do?
Did a small landscape job for a ferris is500 z. Its a small frame 61 in. its in good shape with 130 hrs on in 3 years old. pre ICD i guess there is no ICD sticker on it. not a big deal I use doubles most of the time anyway. It has a briggs think its a 26hp. What is it worth?

i'd say you did good. a mower costs more than a small landscaping job.

If I were trying to figure out what a mower is worth, I'd first look on eBay, Craigslist, the local paper and then call a few dealers to get a good feel for what its worth. What did you price the job at? How much in expenses did you have to pay out to do the job? Did you even quote a price on the job or just wing it and say "I'll trade you for that" and went with it?

Kind of a wing it i have 900 in plants mulch ect. Two days he asked before i quoted a price i need another mower but need a stander. So it was off the cuff and i dont do that often but he was moving had to move it

Sounds like its a worthy deal. Run a add and sell it to get the stander.

You could run it and actually make the money back and then run it some more and make the money it is worth and then sell it for another preferable machine. It was a payment that makes you more money! Use it to do so. A no brainer my friend.
