Anybody know or heard anything about Better outdoor products being bought by a larger company,other than what is on their website?

There's nothing wrong with their mowers and they are becoming a name brand, you thing everyone owned an Exmark or Toro when they came out, NO they didn't....

I didn't say anything was wrong with their mowers, I just said they aren't a name brand, nothing wrong with that either, until you have one and can't get parts for it.

Maybe being acquired by a larger company will allow more parts to become available I'm guessing...

It will be interesting to see. I had one back in 2005 and it was nothing but problem after problem. I do think they have worked out a a lot of issues since then, but I wouldn't even think twice about going back after running my Exmark Turf Tracer. Who knows, maybe Toro bought them, but as posted earlier probably MTD. If that is the case, they are only going to get worse.
