I ran a ventrac for the first time on saturday, one word.....WOW. Friend has all the attachments, let me mow with it, then he put the rough cut mower on, unbelievable what that will do!! The hills we were on were steep, actually made me a bit nervous at first.

Steiner ruff cut mower

I have a steiner ruff cut mower attachment (rc466) that I seldom use . I have never thought of selling it . However it just takes up space in the barn. I would get a lot more use from a trencher attachment. Do you have one for trade?

I too would like a trencher attachment. I did eventually buy a Ventrac rough cutting deck that I'm happy with.

Thanks for asking,

Andy

Ruffcut?

How do you like your ruff cut mower?
I like mine ok, however it is heavy. It works better on my um428 than on the 430.I have to say if the job is rough enough for the rough cut mower it is rough and I usualy use my John Deere 4500 and the Brushbull bushhog.
