That is an excellent trimmer!!

Might be a tad heavy but great power, very smooth etc...

If it is in good shape you got a good deal...it should last a long time!

I only got it for $75 and I thought that was a great price, its in great condition, I just had to do a few adjustments on it and it runs like new. An older guy had it up forsale he said it was to heavy for him. He had a very small yard and it doesnt look like it was used much at all.

The 3000 is one of the higher Echo Trimmer models

I have a 2100 and it needs more power.
I have a 3000 on order right now paid like $275.00

Wish I could have got it for $75.00

Best Of Luck

I own two of these and have had them since 1990: one is set up as a trimmer, the other as a tiller. I have replaced the carburators on them both, replaced the fuel filters, as well. They are running as well now as they did when I first got them. According to this website http://www.tractorbluebook.com/Equip.../Echo/SRM-3000, they are worth $439.00 apiece. The only difficulty I have had has been finding parts and accessories for them. Got the carbs from ebay for less than $50 each. Great machines, but not for the weak or faint-of-heart!!!
