its just a connector that they use on fork lifts you run a hot & a ground that stays on the truck & the same for the trailer I will send a pic of the truck end

so it charges off the truck when running? ive heard about that before, just never really got around to doing it if thats what your talking about.

Forklift connectors is just the kind of connectors I used. I ran a positive and negative wire from the battery of the truck all the way to the back near my 7 way trailer plug. I ran positive and negative from the battery of the trailer and connect them using the forklift connectors to quickly charge the battery. Even though my 7 way plug has the charging wire in it, it wasn't enough to let me dump multiply times in the day.

ok thats simple enough to do. ill have to give that a try. do you just leave it connected all the time when your hooked up to the trailer or only when your running low on juice?

You should have enough power where you could just run it off the fork lift connector off the truck

Yeah, there is definitely enough power. My battery was completely dead when I connected and I was able to dump it.
