Find us on facebook?
I don't get it? Most of the time when you click a lawn guys link to find them on facebook, there's no comments or nothing. It's almost like just going from the main site to FB and for more pictures and info.
Wouldn't a "like us on facebook" button be better? Then when they click, it goes to "their" facebook wall suggesting to their friends that they like your services. I could be wrong but for our business it's a little different unless you have a lot of time to post and interact with prospects etc.. |

I agree!
I have both a twitter and facebook account for my business. Although I do not have that many facebook likes, my customers have told me my posts have informed them of our sales and promotions. Take a look at my facebook page, I have something different about mine than others may have.

For service businesses, I've found it's more useful to push out specials and service notifications, such as the various lawn applications, weather-related service delays, plowing schedules, etc. You can also throw out lawn tips, facts, etc, just don't overdo it.
Definitely use it for more than just straight advertising. You want to build in interactivity, even if it's really only one-way (you talking, them listening). |

Yes thats very true, most of the lawn guys don't know what facebook can bring them. For me personally fb has helped me a lot. And i think every business should use it.
Another think you can od with facebook is to have a QR code on your business card, then when they scan it your facebook page will come up then they will like it. Coool righ? Or you can prin a QR code and putin on the back of your truck... Trust me you will get a lot of likes.. and its free. Srry if i went off topic. Lol |
