Toro cant match my 2010 paint

I ordered a can of Toro brand paint "apple red" from amazon and its way too bright. So I ordered the right one from the dealer called "new red". Its the same as apple red.

Just paint it "Cats Eye Gold" and you can pretend you have the best mower on the market.

i cant imagine it just being fading. My mowers look muroon compared to the new paint. If it was faded wouldnt it look lighter, not darker?
